Many situations may lead to a tooth needing to be removed – trauma, decay (cavities), creation of space for orthodontic reasons, baby teeth, or tooth impaction. At our office, we use modern techniques to ensure that teeth are removed as safely and comfortably as possible. A bone graft may be placed after tooth removal in order to preserve the bone volume around the adjacent teeth (known as ridge preservation) or to prepare for future implant placement.
